                                About Us

Background

EDNOVATIONS was created with the goal of serving the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education needs of kids. Our services are built on a broad base of over 60 years of combined skills and experience from the business, marketing and education disciplines.

We believe education is everyone's business. The programs we develop and the services we offer support a systemic approach, targeting students' excitement about and competence in relevant  STEM and information literacy topics and skills. Our primary focus is community involvement in education.

EDNOVATIONS was founded in New Jersey in March 2000 as a limited liability corporation. The firm was registered as a North Carolina corporation in January 2002. Click here for a sample list of our clients.

From 1993 to 2000, he influenced the development and success of the Buehler Challenger & Science Center as its Executive Director before forming EDNOVATIONS, an education consultancy. Since then, Jan has focused on the development and management of the NSF-funded PACCT project, an award-winning family science program impacting skills at the middle school level, strategic planning initiatives and the development and delivery of capacity-building seminars for small to medium-sized science centers.

After two research tours at AT&T-Bell Labs and ten years as a science specialist in the classroom at The Pingry School, she served as Center Director and Director of Education for the Buehler Challenger & Science Center, where she pioneered the unique  PACCT parent involvement model (a major National Science Foundation project). As a principal of EDNOVATIONS, Linda has designed and delivered professional seminars for the Merck Institute for Science Education, Passport to Knowledge, Inc. and the NASA Explorer School Program.  Linda was also involved as an evaluator for the Consortium for Policy Research in Education team at the University of Pennsylvania, on an NSF systemic change project.
